Our Story at The Green Lantern Restaurant

According to legend, a wooden building once stood on the picturesque beaches of Lake Waubesa, housing slabs of ice that the people had carved by hand. a lot of ice. The owner flashed a “GREEN LANTERN” beside the train tracks that still run behind our restaurant when the ice was ready to be transported to Chicago. This instructed the conductor of the train to stop and gather the ice in order to calm Al Capone’s irate temper.
